My father Arnaldo Crociani spent his lifetime amongst barrels, bottles and flasks. With dedication and passion he applied his mastery to the art of winemaking, always respecting his father's wishes. After his death me and my brother Giorgio continued that legacy in order to bring our wines to a new generation. Now, after the premature death of my brother, I’m going on with the same passion that has been the cornerstone of the family business. The vineyards of the Crociani Estate are situated at Le Caggiole, one of the best areas for production in the heart of the Vino Nobile di Montepulciano zone. The wine is aged in the fourteenth century cellars in the historical centre of Montepulciano.

Went in and asked about a tour, the lady just closed the shop and took us to the sellar which was very small. Then we tasted 5 wines, got exellent explanations about the different wines and grapes of Montepulciano, and tried the local bread and olive oil - even heard about the history of salt usage in Tuscany! Bought 2... More

Visiting wineries in Tuscany we ended up in this little one, located in town few blocks from our hotel, call for a tour, is a small cellar, small production, but big flavor and aromas. The tour is very charming. My favorite wine from here Nobile Riserva 2011.

We've stopped at this family-run, hilltop Cantina about a dozen times over the past decade. I love catching up with English speaking Roberta and she's always interested in our American life as well. The Vino Nobile Riserva is always the first bottle our Italian friends from Cortona grab upon our return. I'm a big fan of the Chianti too! The... More

Popped in from the road and asked for a tasting. Ok a group had just left and perhaps they were tired but the lady who poorer our wines didn't really engage with us. She was chatting to her colleague most of the time. The wines are nice though.

We visited this as part of a wine cellar tour booked at the tourist information in the Piazza Grande. It cost €15 per person and most definitely worth it. Vanda was our tour host and was very informative about the history of the town. It was a definite highlight of the trip alongside the stunning views, particularly from the tower.... More

Our rental apartment in Montepulciano was just around the corner from Crociani. We visited once, and ordered their vino nobile wines in different restaurants in town throughout our stay. Their 2010 vino nobile riserva is our favorite, and we love it enough to pay to have it shipped home :-). Waiting on our next 12 bottles now... and counting down... More

This was one of the stops on our Tuscany tour. We tried their famous vino Nobile and the bit cheaper version made from grapes harvested from newer vineyards. To be honest, I gotta say I preferred the other one. People at the tasting were very polite. Apart from the wine we had some bruschetti with the olive oil they produce... More

Two interesting offerings here... A wine cellar 'tour' and then a tasting. Escorted thru the wine cellar, where we found the environment to be delightfully cool, clean and rustic (they are wooden containers, after all). We emerged to enjoy a sampling of the vineyard's wines. Sampled the olive oil, which we found to be tasty, tho not promoted as much... More

we visited the cantina, and tasted a bit of the rosso, the nobile and the nobile gran riserva, the wine was excellant! we were celebrating our honey moon, and looked at many vineyards to take a few bottles to celecrte our 1st, 5th and 10th anniversery. it took us exactly a second to decide that this will be the wine...
