It is a great spot to spend the day as the sea is so clear and nice to be and you have great gastronomy to get early and dont have to leave the beach for lunch. Had an awesome time with my wife, cousin and...More

We had driven to Maria del Cantone a couple of years ago while on a visit to the area - we really enjoyed it, so much less built up than other places on the Amalfi coast, but we remembered that parking was tight, the beach...More

We stayed at the villa of Salvatore and it was perfect! The view of the sea, the pool, the comfort and luxury was amazing. Every restaurant was as good as the next. Absolutely perfect!!!

Went in mid-June for the day--but very crowded and every beach space had a chair so it did not look as natural as many of the photos; try at night maybe. It looked far more touristed and inauthentic than I had hoped for; luckily there...More

Nice and quite beach for relaxing. A bit pricy but still nice if you want to take a break from sorrento/positano. (parking - 2 eur/hr, 2 beds + umbrella - 15 eur) Has a nice varity of places to eat

If you can avoid the busiest days (weekends + 5-20 August) it's better. This place is just wonderful... especially when the sea is clean (it depends on currents). Choose on of the restaurants and relax. (If you don't like pebbles, not a beach for you).

Great little find, my favourite place on the Amalfi coast. Miss all the traffic as a dead end road. A car park charging 2 euro per hour (seems the going rate in the area) would have paid double to be here. A few restaurants and...More

We stayed in Sorrento and drove to the town of Nerano where we parked. Having read that the beach car park in Marina Del Cantone gets very busy. We walked down the extremely steep hill to find the car park half empty! It's a beautiful...More

It is not a very long beach and like the majority of Italian beaches it is made up of small rocks so bring flip flops or swimming socks. It will take about 15 minutes to walk across the beach.
