We were here in height of summer, August and was very busy. We walked from Hotel Villa Pina, it took about 15 minutes (bring water, especially for way back up the hill!). It was a nice walk even in the heat, we went late afternoon after a day seeing ruins and enjoyed lounging on a sunlounger for a couple of... More

Lovely, went back twice but the hill was killer. 5e for a sunlounger, sat and had a quiet meal here too for dinner :) This beach hurts your feet! Wear something decent, it will also eat your feet when the waves crash over them. Other than that it's gorgeous. Views of Vesuvius.

So glad to find this beach with temperatures reaching 34C in Sorrento. Too hot to sightsee so spent a couple of days relaxing here. Used the sunbeds and an umbrella ( 19Euro for day) . Everything very clean: showers, toilets and access to either beach or ladder directly into sea. They also have a café and a restaurant and food... More

This is a locals beach. There are a couple of beach clubs but walk to the end and you can hire beds, deck chairs and parasols for 5 Euro a pop and be on the sand...well its part sand part shingle. There are numerous restaurants and trattorias with margarita pizzas at 4 Euro. Toilets are 50 cents and there are... More

The beach is indeed with sand but also with stones in the water. You will still need those special shoes for swimming. The beach is very crouded and literally leaves you little space to move or get into the water. The beach beds are cheaper than other places, 5 euros each, but I would not spend there more than one... Wonderful venue for a day at the sea. It seems like someone must turn on a wave machine to create the amazing sudden waves you experience in this resort about every 20 minutes. Watch out for the children though.
