Egadi Islands are very beautiful and easily accessible from Trapani. Various one-day excursions leave from the port of Trapani and take you to Favignana and Levozo. The color of the island waters is spectacular. Walking around the streets offers also great sights.

The main three Egadi island are Favignana, Levanso and Martettimo. All three are well worth visiting. Favignana is by far the busiest with a bustling town with many restaurants and bars. Levanso is much quieter and Marettimo by far the most remote of the three....More

Discovered Favignana when sailing around Sicily, its a back in time location offering a stress free break, you can walk everywhere, great coves for swimming, clear blue sea, good choice of restaurants and great bars

I would definitely suggest going to Favignana. Do take the Liberty Lines for a couple of extra euro since they can get to the island in 30 min whereas the smaller boats take an hour. Once on the island you have lots of options: there...More

We tried to go on June 24, 2017 in the morning fairies were all sold out. The next ferry available was 3 PM. I was amazed by all the people there waiting for a fairy especially those with suitcases. At least 500 plus people.

Go anywhere and find the most beautiful and deserted spots. Specifically Cala Azurra. The people are very kind and relaxed

These are the Egadi Islands, there are 3 them. The one shaped like a butterfly is my favorite. You can arrive at them by a boat Running out of Trapani in the Harbor. The boats are quite rustic but it is a short ride. I...More

Not sure. The Islands are mobbed during the summer with local families. They are tiny islands with few bathrooms. Some squats toilets. Very Europeans.

I'm sorry, I don't know for sure, but Sicily is pretty far south. I looked on the lonely planet website, and it says the temps on the Egadi Islands are in the 50's in Jan/Feb. The ferry from Sicily to the islands is... More
