Crazy Italian gentleman with a gentle artistic creative flair for ceramics
Apr 2017 • Family
I mean "crazy" because this artist could be a millionaire in a different world.

He is a humble guy who plays cards with the local men folk in the alleyway of his olde world work shop. I was touring in APRIL when business was quiet. It is an authentic cave like dwelling with an open alleyway and work shop.. In this alleyway, local italian men folk shelter from mid day sun, drinking coffee and exchanging buon giornos while observing the trail of tourists going inside the Artists work shop, full to the brim with clowns, masks, ceramics of the land and ceramics of the sea. It is a wonderland. HERE, the colours are red, black, silver and gold. This Artist is a real gem. He is patient. The ARTIST likes you to admire his wares.

You are in a world of peace and joy. IT is a creation of art ceramics from Manfredonia. It is possible to buy a wonderful piece of ART from about twenty EUROs. It is a guaranteed once off hand made treasure. You can take it home to your home country and admire its beauty.

BUILD YOUR MEMORIES.

I am trilled with my treasures. IT is not the money but it is the VALUE of my new found treasure. These ceramic treasures are welcome to my home in IRELAND with lots of love from ITALY.

I am very proud of this humble creator of ITALIAN treasures. Thank you and GOD BLESS your creations in ceramic art. Wishing you good IRISH luck with your humble ART workshop.

Exclusivity and beauty of ceramics simply unique. A real touch of class. My wife and I, Robustella Ceramiche customer since many years, have today a unique and exclusive collection. Strongly recommended.

Robustella Ceramiche was founded in 1971 at the initiative of Antonio Rahim that he was still very young, during his studies at the Academy of fine arts "Pietro Vannucci" in Perugia, he decided to open a pottery workshop.
His workshop held at the picturesque courtyard Marasco, one of the most beautiful architectural sites of the city of Manfredonia, has become over the years destination for tourists Gargano who appreciate and admire the diversity of colours and shapes, expressiveness and originality of his artistic language.

Thanks to the work done with diligence, passion and professionalism during the 40 years of activity, and the advent of new technologies, today Robustella Ceramiche can count on a large network of people who appreciate its ceramics all over the world.

Beautiful handmade local crafts in Manfredonia
We happened to walk by this store on Corso Manfredi in Manfredonia and found a gem of a local boutique shop selling hand painted beautiful ceramics and crafts. This place definitely has local flavor in its products and if you're looking for something typical and local, here's the place to find it. The owner was very friendly and helpful to us as well. I explained that my friend was visiting town for the first time to see his family's roots and see where his mom was born. We explained that we didn't know if there were any living family members left in town. He proceeded to make several phone calls free-of-charge to help us find any potential links to people with the same last name. That was a very generous gesture which we appreciated very much.
