Highly recommended
Feb 2020
We took two separate private lessons: One with Tomi (Tomasio) for three adults for three afternoons. Tomi was great, very good at teaching each of us on our level.
The other lesson was a one hour lesson for two kids with Mateo and again a great experience.
The booking page is also very easy to use.
Next time in Madonna we are definitely booking Scuola Sci 5 Laghi for a refresh lesson.

Great School for young children
Feb 2020 • Family
Our two young kids (6 and 3) were skiing for the first time. We enrolled the older one in a group class while the little one started with a private lesson and later joined a group. They have a nice and easy private run where very small children can start skiing safely but after the first day the older one was already tackling the blue slopes with confidence. The teachers are competent and extremely good with children, their patience is unbelievable, they look after the kids very well ensuring that they are always safe, warm and protected from the sun. On the last day even the little one was able to do a full blue run. My kids can be quite grumpy when they start something new but this time at the end of every lesson they were asking for more. Super recommended.

We also rent skis and boots from them and they were in an good condition and quite new models. Skis and boots for the small one were given to us almost free because, they said, she was too cute :)

We had good ski's and boots for a reasonable price. Shop was in a good location. Madonna Di Campiglio exceeded our expectations.

My husband and I have come skiing Italy, and to Madonna Di Campiglio precisely, for the first time. I ski since I'm 12 (I'm 40 now) and husband was a late starter so we take private lessons wherever we go to develop and be able to enjoy ourselves.

My husband took two hours with a teacher at this school, and booked another one to include me the following day. The outcome has been a disaster, he has been able to make me second guess myself (I felt useless, and a black slope has never faced me before) and has obviously shredded my husbands confidence to pieces. To the extend that this morning we try to do an easy blue slope, and he starts shacking and goes down that slope like he has never been on skies before.

This might be the way they make their money: they break you so you can then pay more to "fix" you, but the cost of this trip isn't the price of the lessons alone. What they are achieving is to waste 9 years of classes and lessons in: Megeve, Les Arcs, Courchevel, Chamounix, Gstaad amongst others.

After this morning situation at the slope, we took the cabin, I got changed and when in person to complain "Italian Style". Clearly Italians can dish it out but they don't like to take it. Well TOUGHT.

If you go skiing to enjoy yourselves, to have fun and to develop your skills, avoid this school and if you can the resort altogether. That is if overcrowded slopes and Italian style queues isn't your thing obviously.

This afternoon, they are teaching him again, I shall follow this review with others until we leave in three days. I shall let you all now how much will cost to fix your beloved children and partners.
