As far as I know there are no museums on Lipari or exhibits of recent history and culture. I know there is also no such information in Milazzo the jumping off point for the Aeolian Islands. You will have to search... More
As far as I know there are no museums on Lipari or exhibits of recent history and culture. I know there is also no such information in Milazzo the jumping off point for the Aeolian Islands. You will have to search for a Risorgimento type museum to get some of that information. Other than that if your Italian is good enough you could ask at the churches to see if they have suitable records - birth/deaths/marriages.
There is a large cemetery on Lipari but we did not visit it.
