We were surprised to see the castle open, and relieved for my knees that there is a lift in the tunnel nearby so I could avoid several flights. There was a gallery open at the time, some rooms were being used for that, we were...More

Walked to the castle with 2 four-year old kids. It was a fun walk, with a few challenging sections for little kids. We were able to make it to the base section (not the towers). Some great views. Was hoping this might occupy a few...More

Impressive castle. Turned into an exposition hall on the inside, hiding a lot of the original castle. The top has great views of the coastline.

I can definitely recommend this place for the rooftop view alone, it's awesome. Besides, they have a little but interesting museum, a XII sec. church and they host exhibitions as well.

Castello di Lerici is a symbol of this little town. Paleontological museum is located there. Amazing view from the "top"!

The view from the top of the castle is beautiful and you can sea the sun going down behind Porto Venere. If you go there when there is an exposition go to see it!

Lerici and its dominating castle, built to a typically Genovese design is situated just inside the province of Liguria. Splendid views can be gained over the town and its harbour and of the Lerici Gulf and further across towards Portovenere. Painting and other exhibitions are...More

Well worth seeing the castle as the views are stunning. If you're unable to do the stairs up there is a lift in the tunnel that you can use. Would just be great if there were more signboards with the history of the castle in...More

What a great place for history, seeing building that old, still in great condition is a testament to the craftsmanship of the builders

Went there twice during our stay in Lerici! The view of the Golfo dei Poeti was incredible. Good for an evening romantic walk. We managed to get in for free as they had some sort of modern art exhibition that day
