This is a must when visting Lecce, both during the day as well as in the evening. The lighting changes the façadae and renders it fascinating.

A must see in Lecce, obviously, exellent examples of the local style. Can be crowded in the summer months, but thats Italy for you. Go there in the night, when the ambience comes out even more strongly. Visit the cathedral, by all means!

The architecture is incredible, really you have to see this place with your own eyes to fully appreciate its beauty. We visited both during the day and evening, I advise on doing both. However, the evening is particularly spectacular.

When we were here in October, it felt as if we had the place to ourselves. There's a neat paper-mache place on this piazza. The duomo facade is something to behold, the top statue is Saint Orintius, the bottom left is Saint Fortunato, statue on...More
