With so many beautiful buildings in one piazza this should not be missed while you are in Lecce. Apart from the Duomo and the tall campanile, there is the Seminary and Bishop's Palace. Essential to put this at the top of your list of things...More

In hindsight, I regret that we didn't stay longer to look at all the buildings in the piazza. It is unusual, with only a single entrance to the piazza from the meeting of via Vittorio Emanuele, via Giuseppe Palmieri and via Giuseppe Libertini. It draws...More

Surrounded by very attractive baroque buildings with the highlight being the façade & bell tower of the 17th century city cathedral/ Duomo. More a solemn square rather than alive with people activity.

So many beautiful buildings in one piazza! Apart from the Duomo and the tall campanile, there is the stunning seminary and many other beautiful buildings. Essential to put this at the top of your list of things to see when visiting Lecce.

There are many churches in Lecce but this one is worth visiting on the main square. The inside of the church is simple and visit early in the morning before it gets busy.

We got there with the aim of visiting the Dome itself. The Piazza looks like many other similar places . It offers traditional Italian architecture and is a quite place .

Clearly the buildings are great but there was a lack of atmosphere. Sadly tourists tend to sit on the steps of the things one wants to take photos of. People should be more considerate!

Deep in the complex of small streets in Lecce is this oasis of calm and serenity. Busy by day, magical by night, it's a must see both ways.

Thank you, we found great parking just by the Porta Napoli on Via Adua, few minutes from Centro Storico.
