A great place to sit and relax whilst visiting this beautiful Baroque City. It is cool and shady on a hot day and there are beautiful flower beds and statues dotted about.

One of the things that makes me miss my country. I love nature. Tall trees, birds singing, the sound of the wind even though it’s in the center of the city. I just love this place

This was a well maintained large garden with many busts of famous people scatterd around the garden, a fountain and various other interesting items. It is one of the few green spaces close to the center of the old town and opposite Palazzo Dei Celestini.

Just ouside the old city you will find some green areas in public gardens. A nice stop during the the Lecce sight seeing. Fountain, ponds and some statues commemorating persons important to history of Lecce (I assume). Quite easy to find.

Lovely formal garden. Wander the pathways under the trees, sit on a bench, there are plenty lining the avenues. A family fun day was on when we were there. Plenty of kids riding bikes, kicking balls and enjoying themselves. Beautiful fountains and a band playing...More
