This semi-excavated 2nd Century AD Roman amphitheater is like a doorway to a forgotten age in the very heart of the City of Lecce, which itself is supposed to have been inhabited for over 3,000 years. Stand at the edge of it and you can...More

A must see in the heart of town. Authentic Roman Art surrounded of Lecce history. Summer time you can enjoy dance stages from many dance studios in town.

This ancient theatre rivals anything they had in Rome just smaller. Which meant you could easily navigate the whole place and still get the feeling of ancient Rome.

the ampiphetre in the God forsaken town of Lecce has only been parftially excavated. There are no explanation over the visible heap of stones.
