Great place to see if you are by the Diamond Palace
Oct 2019
I wrote about this in my Diamond Palace review...didn't know TA would have a separate sheet. It's worth a walk to get here because the park is lovely and the neighborhood you walk through is wonderful.

A beautiful day in a beautiful place
May 2019 • Couples
The park has mature trees and many benches from which to absorb the peace and loveliness of a fine city park. The weather was perfect, the flowers in bloom, the grass a verdant green - life doesn't get much better. Definitely worth a visit, assuming the weather cooperates.

Beautiful stop on a hot afternoon
Jun 2017 • Couples
We had walked to the Botanical Garden and found it closed, so the park just opposite was a welcome sight for sore feet. We enjoyed walking round under the magnificent trees before finding a little cafe for a cold beer.

Take a green break while city sightseeing
Jun 2016 • Friends
One of Ferrara's few city parks and certainly the largest and most frequented by the locals. Just a short walk from Palazzo dei Diamanti in one direction and the huge similarly green Piazza Ariostea in the other. They've recently improved the entrance from the fairly busy road, making it more pedestrian and bike-friendly. There's also an entrance/exit from the side in Ercole 1° d'Este. Not much in the way of refreshments, just one small coffee bar with ice creams etc. Can get very busy with kids in fine weather (play areas available) which may or may not be an advantage for you, but there also plenty of quiet spots. Toilets near the front entrance to the left.

Relaxing oasis in city
Aug 2016 • Family
If you with small kids definitely must go there, of if you love green and relaxing places go there and enjoy. The park is enclosed by a fence so that children can freely run and play. If you just walking i the park it needs about 1 to 2 hour to make a full circle in park.

Lovely oasis of green
Apr 2016 • Solo
A lovely oasis of green, about a 10-minute leisurely stroll from the castle, and a stone's throw from Palazzo dei Diamanti. Definitely to take in if you're walking round Ferrara.

Huge trees
Mar 2016
We were impressed by the park especially because of the huge trees next to the main gate. It is a well-designed park although its level of upkeep at least in the month of march was not impeccable. Never seen such a grandeur at a park entrance. The heavy branches are well-supported and yu the effort to maintain the trees by all means.

Relax

A fine place to settle after a walk in the city. Beautiful park, and the bust of Dante is a fine piece.

Get a walk or a bike ride there to relax
May 2015 • Friends
Parco Massari is located very close to Palazzo dei Diamanti, and offers refreshment from the hot temperature in the summertime. If you have the opportunity to visit the city by bike, don't miss to go there for a rest.
