The one in Pescara about the peoples of the Abruzzo is fine, but the scope of this museum is amazing. It is very new and the explanations under the exhibits are also in good English. It is located in a beautiful villa in a scenic...More

An excellently laid out museum with locally found artifacts. If old coins are your interest, it has a wonderful collection. There is also jewelry, statues & other fascinating pieces. Located in an old villa, the estate is now a popular park.

This museum has the fantastically important and enormously impressive 'Capestrano Warrior' and associated stuff, which are must-sees. There are other amazing exhibits too, like the lifelike Roman-era bust of an old man, and much else, presented in a very uncluttered way.

Some very interesting pieces that provide a glimpse into the local past. Many smaller items dominate (only sometimes are there descriptions in English), but the larger pieces are good.
