Beautiful city with lots of bars and restaurants. Plenty of room on the beach in May and the weather was brilliant.

A very beautiful old cathedral with a very calm feeling. Amazing mosaics and a wonderful site right at the heart of the town in an extremely attractive piazza.

Nice church, beautiful figures. Nice to see for a walk through. We've only been in the free part of the church, there would also be a paid tour.

Visited here and chose the red itinerary which includes everything. First you visit the towers and see the views. Then you go between towers and down to the church where you see the gold mosaics - stunning, Then you visit the treasury and museum with many beautiful artifacts and finally the atmospheric cloisters and garden. All in all, a great visit.

Highlight of our visit to Cefalu. This is a stunning example of Norman architecture and entrance is free. An organ playing and singing (wedding was due) when we visited added to the magic.

Check the opening times - when we visited it opened at 3pm in the afternoon. This suited us as we arrived early afternoon, had lunch in the square and then went in.

This is a lovely cathedral and if you are interested in history a really great example of the Norman architecture in Sicily. You can climb the tower with a spectacular view. Some of the stones outside have the mason's signs visible so look out for those! And try to find the pillar with Noah!

A very impressive building with adjacent cloisters and (unkept) garden. This a very historically significant cathedral and a must see if you like history

entering the duomo gives you an extraordinary experience of facing the wonderful mosaique of a gentle Christ in the front part of the duomo illuminated by rays of sunlight

It was gorgeous. Can’t wait to go back again. Just sitting in the church brought back centuries of history in a quiet beautiful setting .

There ia a very interesting tour which offers you the most of it, including going partly up the tower, getting in the roof and getting close to the mosaic. I strongly recommend taking that one as it also includes the monastery. A lot to see, some nice explanations and some places and angles you will otherwise not see.

A very nice interior as well, so for a relatively small town like Cefalu very impressive. Oh and do not expect too much from the treasury.
