L'unica miniera sotterranea dell'Isola d'Elba. Un viaggio emozionante nella storia di Capoliveri, attraverso le gallerie dove hanno duramente lavorato i minatori, per estrarre i minerali di ferro usati nelle migliori acciaierie italiane fino al 1980.

From billing shop they take you via bus to the mines (6 km). Mines are very fascinating and despite not much organization inside there are 2 Huge amazing extraction caves that will impress you! Fantastic for kids.

A good day to visit when the weather is bad. On a sunny day, you can get baked, literally. It's impressive, worth the trip.

We did this tour since we thought it would be a nice difference to laying on the beach for two weeks. The tour is magnificent. The guide really explains a lot and takes time to answer questions (Italian, German and English). The museum is small...More

My review does only deals with the area around here and the fantastic images [see mine] you can take here. You can arrive here by car [partly on a dusty road] but much nicer is to walk from Capoliveri as I always do. Oposite the...More
