It is a nice place to chill out in a nice sunny day. Brescia is small and the castle is not far from the city centre. Given the famous stories of the battles, the castle is a place worth visiting.

The construction is really big and you will need a lot of time if you would like to explore everything. The view on the top is breathtaking. There is a museum that you can visit although we did not.

A lot of stairs to access the castle, so it's not recomended to elder people. But, if you can, go there and see that enormous castle with great walls, towers and, also, a good view of the whole city.

The Brescia castle is located relatively close to the Santa Giulia museum, but is quite the climb. Nevertheless it is worth it! For those who are a fan of Medieval history, this museum has an impressive collection of Medieval weaponry and armory. It's a small...More
