The museum has beautiful works of art including Vasari and Signorelli and Della Robbia as well as displays of ceramics. The building is beautiful in itself. There's an outside garden which unfortunately has been neglected, if money was spent on this then it would make...More

This place is well worth a visit. it could do with more and better explanations of what you are seeing, but I would recommend a visit. It was quiet when we were there.

The outside had artifacts and then all the Roman, Etrustcans and really I was not at all interested in the modern. The people were patient as we were close to the closing time but we enjoyed it never the less

It is not the biggest museum in the world but has nevertheless some extremely important and beautifull peaces of art important in art history. Some nice works of vasari!

The museum hosts a very interesting and quite varied collection ranging from early medieval sculpture to late 19th/early 20th century paintings ("Modern art" is perhaps a slight misnomer). Exhibits are mostly well described and presented (though some interesting items in the "medieval ivories" section are...More

This museum has strange opening hours, they open the doors for about 15 minutes at 10, 12, 2 and 4. The ceramics collection is extensive and good, but after seeing way too many Madonnas and Saints I was disappointed that their definition of " modern"...More

We did not visit all of this large museum. Arezzo is so full of historical and artistic interest that you could miss it, but a visit is well worthwhile, if only for the Renaissance ceramics from Tuscany and Umbria, brilliantly displayed.

Free entry. The doors open for 15 minutes at 10am, 12 midday, 2pm and 4pm. You have to be waiting at the doors at one of these times to be granted access. I went at 10am and they were opened very shortly after. There was...More

This free museum, in a large palazzo, is well worth a visit for its ancient sculpture and medieval painting. Don't go with high hopes of modern art.
