Wonderful site with so much history. Give yourself time - we spent 3 hours without stopping and definitely beneficial to arrive early before the tourist buses and school children. Worth getting a guide - we bought an audio guide and between this and the information written at each site got a good coverage of the monuments and historical information. Wonderful... More

The Valley of the Temples is breathtaking and a true highlight of Sicily. The hike from one end to the other will take around and hour if you keep moving. Glorious!

Arranged as part of our tour of Sicily, our English speaking interpreter knew her stuff! Hard to believe that these temples have stood for this period of time (through wars and various conflicts). I've always marveled as to how they were constructed.

We chose to have a tour guide for this historical tour, he was very good and talked about things from his perspective and he showed a lot of passion about information he knew, he also took us to the best places to have photos, this is a good visit to learn about Sicilys history, it took 3 hours.

Huge complex of temples, many hours on foot. Take care not to be there in the middle of a hot summers day. Costs 10 euros to get in, but getting into gardens or on a taxi within the complx could set you back another 10. Use sunblock.

A wonderfull and exceptional walk trough the foot print of our Western civilisation. More then three hours views of temples, signs of the old Greek civilisation. One of the high lights of my trip to Sicily.
