See my very detailed visit notes to the Valley of the Temples. From my perspective, it wasn't worth visiting but others may disagree or find it interesting.

These gardens are part of the extensive Valley of the Temples, and are described by some as the most exquisite gardens of Italy. I wouldn’t go that far! Yes, they are nicely designed, and offer a welcome bit of shade and freshness after a visit...More

Our family took a tour of the quiet citrus garden in the former kolymbetra, artificial pool. The highlight of this tour is walking through an underground pathway, dug out of the local rock and used for water transport. This is a super cool thing to...More

Lovely green spot in the hot sand of the Valley of the Temples, but honestly go to the seashore nearby instead for a cool seabreeze and delicious seafood.

While visiting the Valley of Temples, a visit to the Kolymbetra Botanical Gardens was recommended. I really don't believe it is worth a separate admission....it is basically full of citrus trees and lots of mosquitos and small annoying gnats. I'd pass.

Entering in this garden is like arriving in Eden. ...a perfume of oranges and jasmine all around....The gardens are very beautiful and passing through it you can see the temple of Vulcano . You need to buy z separate ticket, that costs 6 euro.

The garden is beautiful and interesting. It made for a cool break from visiting the temples. But it is mainly an arboretum with citrus trees. And definitely not the most beautiful garden in Sicily!
