Our kids loved this place they all fought to take hold of the camera to records the miniature houses which were all well maintained. The grandparents loved this place as the garden were very well maintained. Came here as a kid about 30 yrs ago and I still love it today.

Nice to see someone turn a hobby into a tourist attraction. Very expensive for what it is and not worth the drive.

Be prepared to pay an an appalling amount of money for none of the manual attractions to work and then they'll slug you extra for a "train ride" that goes for about 1 minute. There's so many more places that represent better value for money

Hi Craig B, It's a shame your 1st review had to be so negative. We have NEVER had a time where NONE of our manual attractions have not been working, obviously maintenance is an on going task for us with the numbers we have coming through our doors. The train ride goes around our international area twice which takes approximately... More

This place is unique in Canberra, From the streaker on the football fields, to the arrests in the back lane & the guy on the dunny reading the newspaper (look when you get there) its a place to keep your eyes open to see what you can find (LOL). Visit some of the world and there attractions, to riding the... More

Aside from the heavy gestation of the capitol's overshadowing antics by politicians, there is a pure place of escape and rectitude to be amazed at the gardens. I love miniaturised buildings and figurines having spent a childhood blessed with a cache of these things. Gorgeous setting makes for a lovely visit. It generates laughter at the whimsical output on show... More

This is a terrific place to see a presentation of famous buildings and architecture from Britain and around the world. It's so interesting how different governments have sponsored the creation of incredibly detailed models of famous churchers, castles and other landmarks from their countries. I particularly like some of the humorous inclusions such as the streaker on the football field... More

Called in here to look thru the gardens and see the model villages most made on 1/12 scale. A lot of work has gone into building this place. Stay away from there café as we could eat the food as it a really strange smell and taste to it
