I'm really happy that I choose this company because these 2 days of trips (Forts trip and Grand Canyon of Oman) were incredible. It was one of my best vacations ever and especially I must say THANK YOU to their guide Mr. Khalfan because he was very professional, careful, always focusing on details and thinking about to make the trip more interesting for me. He told me also lots of things about the history of the country, its culture, traditions etc. Thanks to him I enjoyed these 2 days so much and I'll definitely come back to Oman and would like to book another trips guided by him. I highly recommend this company to the others.

We contacted Basim one week before our trip, unfortunately he was busy at our dates, but he was always in contact with us answering all the questions we had. Instead of him we had 3 days of tours with his father Humaid and it was an excellent experience. The first day it was the Muscat tour, the second we went to Nizwa and the Green Mountains, and the last day we went to Wahiba Sands and Wadi Bani Khalid. Humaid was a perfect guide, very intelligent, funny and hospitable. Also he is an excellent driver and we felt very comfortable during the trip to the desert and the mountains. We had only 2.5 days in Oman, but with the tours it felt like we've spent a week or more, thanks to the guide. He was always very attentive to us, we also spent two warm evenings with his lovely family. I think we will definitely come to Oman once again, and would be happy to spend the time with Humaid or Basim.

Had a great day and swa 4 sights in about 3.5 hours which was perfect . Our guide and driver was a young very knowlegeable and well educated one man who reallly knew both the history and current facts about Muscat . We were not hurried and able tp set our own pace which was terrific . Many of our ecnet tours from a cruise ship can be confusing as many tour apreators are allowed to pickup at the ship and the majority outside the port . In this case they dropped us off at the passenegr facility which turned about to be still within the port so we had to phone to find out that the guide wa really outside the port requit=ring another bus ride

Overall, through a half day sightseeing of Muscat and four out of town day trips, we had an excellent overview of Oman’s scenic and historical diversity. The visits to the Grand Mosque, Wahiba Sands, Jebel Shams and the various forts, especially Nizwa and Bahla, especially stood out. There was a lot of driving, but that was our fault as we chose to return each night to Muscat. Value for money was very good. To be honest, there was one programming error that our driver, Rashid, caught and corrected: two visits to Nizwa. Speaking of Rashid, he was what really made our experience special. Not only was he superbly knowledgeable and an excellent driver, his warm personality and willingness to go “the extra mile” (in other words, go out of his way to ensure we got the most out of each day) helped make our experience in Oman a memorable one. Don’t let him go. Should any of our friends and acquaintances decide on a visit to Oman, we shall certainly recommend they contact Oman Day Tours.
