With the closure of the main public beach due to the new housing development, this section of beach in the main village of Qantab is now the best place to find the little fishing boats to take you out on a ride down the coast...More

This beach is worth to see. Mountains around and road with beautiful views. You can spent there 5-10 minutes to make photos. You can take a 20-40 minutes tour by boat with local guide (do not pay more that 1-3 rials per person)

Overlooking the Gulf of Oman. Fantastic place. It is full of small beaches between the mountains. And the color of the turquoise water. And places to hunt for fish.

This used to be one of the loveliest public beaches in Muscat - encompassing a pretty bay with calm waters & a great spot for families with little kids to swim in. Unfortunately, it was recently re-possessed and closed for some modern development and is...More

Really enjoyed a break here at Qantab beach. Very beautiful surroundings and the locals are incredibly friendly. Take a swim in the bay (32 degrees C water temp when I visited) or sit and watch the local fishermen mending their nets.
