This building is jaw dropping - a must see in Muscat. The people there were very informative. Manged to get a taxi driver to then do a tour of Old Muscat & the Opera House at a reasonable rate

No matter what your religious beliefs, this is the must visit spot in Oman. The beauty of the mosque and grounds takes ones breath away. The atmosphere is wonderfully peaceful. The excellent staff are most helpful in helping to maximize the experience of the visit.

Amazing mosque that is rich in Omani and Islamic History. Beautiful gardens and stunning architecture. A must see for those who travel to Muscat.

I don't think they will allow after 11.30. However you can visit till night if you are Muslim and willing to be inside for Prayers.

I have just seen this question. There is adequate cover provided on loan but covered legs and arms will be good.
