This was the first of two wineries we visited whilst on the Bordeaux Office of Tourism wine tour. Our transport was a mini bus which was very comfortable and not a long way to travel. The host at the winery, Sara, was outstanding in sharing her knowledge of their process which differed somewhat to the other winery we visited. The... More

I visited Chateau Prieure-Lichine as part of a large group on a tour of the Medoc wine route. Our tour guide did a brilliant job of giving the tour in both English and French and kept our interest whilst whizzing us around the main Chateau exterior and into the cellars. The tasting was good fun and our bus guide Emma... More

Our wine tour and tasting lasted 1.5-2 hours. Our tour guide, Lucy?, was knowledgeable and friendly. Of the four chateaux we visited in the Medoc region, this was clearly the best. The boutique was attractive and offered some excellent gifts.

We enjoyed our visit of this winery, the tour and the wine tasting experience. Our guide was very knowledgeable and explained the process they use to blend their wines. The property is beautiful, particularly the barrel room. The wine tasting offered 4 tasting with the last 2 wines being their best. There is a nice gift area that offers a... More

I really enjoyed the visit at this Chateau. The girl that took care of us was really nice, knowledgeable and spoke perfect English. We could not visit the actual chateau as it was not used but the had built a "visitors centre" by the cellars where we had the tour and tasting. We had pre-booked the visit which I recommend... The entire tour and tasting was highly entertaining and the store had lots of cool stuff. Low pressure staff so there was no rush to do anything

Visited here as part of an organised wine tour. Our hostess was very knowledgable, very friendly and most of all was enthusiastic about the chateau and the wines. The wines we tried were very good, we purchased a few to bring back, and it's worth a visit to have a view of the way they make the wine in the... More

The chateau in itself is smaller than the others around Margaux. But we had the most wonderful time visiting Chateau Prieure-Lichine hosted by the wonderful, knowledgeable and entertaining Ulrich. Ulrich was a fantastic guide and we really enjoyed his sense of humour and many anecdotes on many of the key wine attributes. I considered this one of the most educational... More

We had the most wonderful time and were hosted by the excellent Laetitia. After an extensive visit through the winery including the new brand new vat room that looked like something from a Doctor Who set, we were then given a tasting of their wonderful wines. Very informative and an excellent couple of hours. Thank you very much Laetitia.
