Very expensive parking - 8€ which with a poor exchange rate can hurt!

Some of the way up was hairy with many hairpin bends and having to drive around the many and various cyclists could be annoying.

We arrived at the end of a long day. As others have said it is quite a winding road from Inca - I (the driver) love this kind of road; my wife does not so it's not for everyone. If we had longer we would have done some walking in the hills around the monastery. The mountain air was noticeable... More

Nothing very special for me, but museum was nice and was stuff to see. Parking was not free but if you bought museum ticket you got free parking also.

I liked the drive to the monastery. This time of year there is not much traffic and we left early in the morning. The road offers fine views. It is well maintained. The Sanctuary is interesting but not very impressive. There is a nice botanical garden, the smallest with the longest path we've ever visited. Everywhere the trickles water. It... More

Basilica is impressive although not notably any better than the churches in Soller or Pollensa. Didnt seem worth the entrance fee but worst of all we had money stolen from a purse and wallet inside the basilica. Not the only mention of that in here, surely it's possible to eliminate these things ?

At €5 per person with free parking this sanctuary nestled in the mountains is an oasis of peace and tranquility. Walking around the path from the grounds to the crucifix in the hills is extremely quiet and the views spectacular. You can see why they decided to build a sanctuary here. The choir was very good - it was quite... More

Definitely plan to stop here while on a journey on the GR221. Relaxing and beautiful - a respite for the feet and spirit.

Very quiet, peaceful place with wonderful views from the hills. We didn't plan to visit this attraction, found it on the way by chance. Most of all I liked botanical garden with amazing views and the best sangria I ever tried in the cafeteria near the souvenir shop on the way to exit from monastery.

The monastery is now run as a choir school; sadly we missed a performance, but the monastery is most interesting with a beautiful chapel (part modern) and an excellent small museum and art gallery with currently an exhibition of the Mallorcan artist Coll Bordelet. There is a good cafe and gift shop. The "Botanic Garden" however is rather disappointing, being... More
