Brilliant Day

Had a great day, watched a lamb be born, fussed a soft baby rabbit, fed goats, watched granddaughters enjoy soft play.

Big selection of animals and huge outdoor play area. The indoor slide barn not completely enclosed so on a cold day you can't spend too long in there. Unfortunate since it was a cold day on our visit. I'm sure it would have been a better experience on a warmer day. We had our own packed lunch, so I can't... More

Some good activities for the kids, indoor soft play, outdoor adventure. Mom and pop decor, run down, needs updating, food is shocking, cold chicken, luke warm soup and way too expensive for what it is. However it did kill 3hrs.

Thanks trav3lbug77 for taking the time to review us. We have just (since you visited) got a new manager in the tea room. We have passed on your comments and hopefully next time you visit things will be MUCH better for you More

Went here with our granddaughter and she had a good time. She did enjoy the slide barn most She did not like the dinosaur trail, though I think it was the noise, Take a picnic with you, several places where you can eat it, though remember to wash your hands. I do think charging under 6 year olds adult prices... More

Thanks for your review S P. The question of charging children more or adults more is a really tricky one. Next time we are considering it we will bear you comments in mind. More

Great place for children. Terrible place to visit for adults! Why do these places penalise adults by charging £9.80ea and the same for children? Adults should be free. If it wasn't for the children, we wouldn't go there. The tea room is filthy. I had a chicken & bacon club roll. It was chicken mayonnaise with one slice of tomato... More

Have visited many times last year when my son was a small baby, upon visiting this year we had to pay for him as he is over one year! Quite disappointing as a lot of places under 5s go free, you also pay the same price for a two year old as a 16 Year old! So entry for myself,... More

Have been here over the years, never fails to disappoint. Animal cuddling, den making, great outdoor space and in door play. Kids love it, staff friendly. Catering not great so take a packed lunch.

My two children aged 5 & 7 thoroughly enjoyed every minute of the day. There was no queuing stress. The food was fine with children's lunch packs available. The staff were at worst happy teenagers, at best very interested and helpful. The coffee from the cafe at the far end of the outside play area was a bit ropey

We were looking for something to do today (slightly dreary winter Sunday) and based on good reviews we decided to try Godstone farm. After paying £26 for a 2.5 year old and two adults we were expecting a lot more than we got. In brief, we got a very limited number of animals (mainly stuck in tiny pens which you... More

Thank you Happyfish for your review. I'm glad you enjoyed the indoor animal petting area but will take on board you other comments. The farm had now had a thorough tidy up and hopefully Defra will allow all the poultry to go outside soon. We will bear in mind your idea of charging less in winter and hope that you... More

I have been to Godstone Farm a few times since my son was born three years ago. It has always looked a bit tired, but the animals appear to be well looked after, the staff are friendly, and there are plenty of things for the kids to do other than see animals if you don't mind them playing with battered... Thank you sc_p001 for your review. It's just the sort of detailed review that every business needs from time to time to shake them up! Since you wrote we have a new tearoom manager so hopefully the next time you visit the standard will be back to what we expect. And meanwhile the Playbarn has had a good scrub and... More
