We did a tour and degustation at Chateau Pommard and thought it well worth the twenty five euros per person. Our guide, Xavier, was great and spent a lot of time answering our questions on the way around. The chateau, vineyards, gardens etc are absolutely magnificent and if you can only do one tour, I'd definitely recommend Chateau Pommard. Don't... More

To be honest this was the best wine tasting ever experienced. When you book a private wine tasting which is not cheap you really get value for money : the tour will take about 2.5 hrs including a fantastic wine tasting and depending on your wine knowledge and potential previous visite(s) - you will get exclusive wines in your tasting.... We just did a tasting at Chateau de Pommard today. Jerome did the tasting and was very knowledgeable and very friendly. It was a great experience and the wines were very good. If you want to do a tour, I recommend booking in advance.

We biked from Beaune to this beautiful vineyard. We were greeted by extremely friendly and helpful staff. We had booked an appointment, and they described several new tour options that had become available since we booked online months before. We went on an individual tour with an excellent guide and did an 8 wine sampling.

When in or near Pommard, stop by here for a nice tour and a great sampling of wines. Also, get to see a good example of the variety of soils in Burgundy.

The tour of the Chateau included much museum-like displays and beautiful architecture. Our tour was led byEtienne Payet. He was very friendly and informative. He explained the various soil conditions and how they affected the wines. The wine cellar was very impressive. We than had a wine tasting. He explained the wine and answered all of our questions.

Lovely ambiance, but the "tour" was very brief (mainly viewing oak barrels), and there was implicit pressure to buy wine.

We were recommended to visit this winery by an American couple we met at our hotel. My husband and I both enjoy full bodied wines and we found these wines a little on the light side, but still tasty. We took the 25 euro tour which took about 1 hour and then tasting of 5 different wines. We bought tickets... More
