Uncrowded and unspoilt, perfect in every way. There are a couple of beach restaurants, both lovely for an afternoon drink. And toilet/shower facilities. In my opinion it's quite nice to find a beach like this and not have the place bombarded with shops, cafes, bars etc. Parking is free, although we where staying in a campsite just up the road... Lovely place to go, quite central and to be honest not far from visitor attractions. The beach is nice to go to but beware if it's windy you will get sand blasted as there is no dunes! Also worth noting is there is life guards but due to the length of the beach and what seems to be a shortage... More

Beautiful beach. Pebbled once you walk into the sea, once you are past it, sandy bottom. Watch small kids, as it is a little steep. Walk some yards after the entrance to find uncrowded spots. Lovely!

Follow the signs to ZAZAs rather than to the main beach at Toreilles and then take the unmade and bumpy road down to the parking area that sits by two fantastc restaurants and bars (with loungers, if needed) ZAZAs and Maya's both serving great seafood wine and beers (cash only) and for the more adventurous a naturist beach is a... A great beach, fine sand, no buildings save a few wooden beach restaurants. One of the better ones in the Pyrénées Orientales.

Beautiful beaches - clear water, child friendly and lovely restaurants on the beach itself. Can't remember the names, one is made of driftwood and is beautiful, we wanted to pop in for a glass of wine but you can't unless you order food (we had already eaten), so bear this in mind. We ate at the other and food was... More

Like: clean sand, crystal water, not crowded, toilets nearby, some nice restaurants Dislike: it's hard to dislike ;-) Maybe sand could be finer and there are some "feet-aching peebles" on the bench.

A very nice stretch of flat sandy beach. There are a few low key bars and restaurants and toilets and showers too. It was not too busy when we visited but imagine it would be crowded in July & Aug. Well worth a visit. The local town of Torreilles is a few miles away and is small but nice. The... More
