Came here today in November. Was cold, but what do you expect. There were a lot of surfers in the area jumping the waves! Very cool spot!

Lawrencetown Beach has been a favourite family destination of ours for years. They have built more walkways and have more access points now so it makes it easier to get out to the beach. We very seldom swim but love to walk on the beach and watch the ocean and the often present surfers. A great place to get out in the fresh air.

We came out to check out the surfers. This place has grown up since I was last here 30 years ago. Beautiful natural area, sand, stone, dunes, waves. It was foggy today, but there were still a dozen or so surfers in the water. Cool spot; worth a look if you feel like kicking back for a while. There were warnings posted about a Portuguese man o' war being spotted.

Beautiful, clean, undeveloped beach with life guards. Rock and sand. Gorgeous for walking and swimming.

The surfing was decent and there is a sandy beach to relax on. There are washrooms, change rooms, ample parking, stairs and bridges over the dune and outdoor taps to rinse off your sandy feet. There were surf rental and lessons available from temporary vendors.
