We headed up the long narrow winding road only to find Eremo Di Calamini closed. We were advised that it would be open as did the sign on the gate so we were very disappointed.

It was a very nice and tranquil place to visit. The walk up to it is also very nice and quiet. The church in the cave was interesting, the whole place seems to be so close to nature.
