Best to visit here when the Azaleas and Rhododendrons come into bloom in the last weeks of April/first weeks of May. Then again, this is the busiest time at the plantation so if you prefer a less crowded walk head here another time - it's...More

We have been coming here for many years and especially in the Spring when the azaleas and rhododendrons are at their best. We used to find it a completely magical place but since the great rhododendron clearance programme, there are now swathes of empty scrubland...More

This plantation in the heart of Richmond Park is such a beautiful place to visit, with it's lovely walks and ponds, we love taking our daughter here and letting her ramble along taking photos.

Stunningly beautiful especially in the Autumn when the sun is shining 😍. We loved the seclusion of this place, the huge variety of trees and flowers and the pond. There is plenty of hidden places here where you can just chill out and relax.

This is a mature plantation in the middle of the park. The best time to go is in late April/early May when the azaleas are in flower, but it is worth the trip at any time. Try to find all three ponds, but at azalea...More

The Isabella Plantation in Richmond Park is known in April/May for the beautiful hydrangeas around the pools but it’s definitely worth returning now as we enter autumn. The colours are truly beautiful in the trees. It is such a beautiful park, free to park and...More

Go in the Azalea season in Spring, and you will be amazed by the riot of glorious colours!! Park at the top carpark and walk down to the gated plantation.

Beautiful old old flora, meandering walks, a couple of tranquil ponds right out of a Japanese picture, one with cobbled stones and ducks...a lovely outing for the family

No words really justify the very pure beauty of this hidden gem. It’s a beautiful, calm, and enthralling little treat. Amazing plants and old wise trees. Perfect soundtrack of creaking branches, trickling water and a bird chorus to rival any choir. It’s just perfect!
