Its not hard to imagine what it was like in Henry viii's day riding through the countryside hunting the deer. Great walks, fantastic scenery, space for everybody. Horse and bike riding tracks keep them separate from walkers. A top tip is to go during the week, avoid school holidays and bank holidays as the car parks get very full. Parking... More

Lovely place just to have a wander through. Children can climb fallen trees and see the deer. There is also a riding stables nearby so horses are also seen in the park.

Green oasis with unique views on London skylines. What really sets it off is that it is a park :-) is the herds of deer, hundreds freely going around. The Thames water front beautiful. A great day out with the family. A Gem hidden in London. A great picnic destination and sports heaven.

I must have visited Richmond Park 10,000 times and never grow tired of it. It's a properly open wild park in an urban setting and is enormous. The exterior wall runs for ten miles so you can truly get lost here. Do come - it' wonderful

The park is very big. I always have a morning walk with my family and friends there. The deer are very lovely. It's good to have tea at Pembroke Lodge after the walk.

Ten times more beautiful than Hyde Park. It's far from city center, but easy to get there by overground. Take a overground until Richmond station and then, a 10 minutes bus until the park entrance. It worth ! The green area is huge, the animals are lovely and the trees, flowers and birds are all beautiful !

Took a detour on my drive home through Richmond Park . I had spent a couple nights in a lovely local hotel in Richmond itself, attending a family wedding. Richmond Park is definitely worth time for further exploration, preferably on foot or by bike. There is a car park in the centre and through traffic is restricted to low speeds.... More
