Came with our 8 year old daughter midweek in half term. We parked in a car park just outside of minions which was free. The car park was located next to an engine house which you could look inside at some information boards. The signposts...More

Great walk for an excellent view. Minions is on the map for being a place to visit and get a photo with the kids thanks to disney but this place shouldn't be missed if there. Weather is the key here and we were fortunate that...More

Free car park on outskirts of Minions. You need stout foot ware. Follow main track to left of car park as you look towards Stowes Hill. On a clear day you never lose site of the hill top away to your right. In poorer visibility...More

We parked on the edge of the village of Minions, put our walking boots on and headed across the moor to Cheesewring. You pass through the Hurlers on the way, and it is easy to see the hill in front of you to keep your...More

Quite a walk from the car park but well worth it. Would definitely come back again. There were people using pushchairs to get to the bottom so it is quite accessible but the last bit to get get to the top is a scramble up...More
