We have visited the gardens regularly throughout the last four or so summers and the children love to run around, use the playground & race each other round the maze. The gardens are beautiful & it's nice to see how things grow and develop year after year. But do yourself a favour and avoid the café on very busy days;... More

My kids loved this place. Running around the woods, den building, finding and meeting the yeti, the play area, the maze, trying to touch the wind socks, having their photos taken in front of the various sculptures (not so much!), the play area, yeti foot shortbread biscuit in their kid's lunch bag (nice touch), the boat swing, maze, ice cream... Charming gardens with occasional views. The gardens are to the South of Sevenoaks, on the way to Hildenborough. The gardens are pleasant enough, but the planting at nearby Reuthes Nursery and Gardens is better. You get the feeling they are just trying a bit too hard. There is a decent t range of things to do, but it isn't a... More

My husband is 76 and walks with a stick but we make it to the top each time, just take it slowly. The views are worth... More

Riverhill gardens are gorgeous to visit when everything is blooming in summer as well as in spring when a carpet of bluebells spreads through the forests. There's a lovely playground for children, beautiful forest walk with views over The Valley and a tearoom with tasty cakes and fresh coffee. Especially great with younger children who you want to introduce to... More

We visited the Himalayan Gardens at Riverhill at Bluebell time. I don't think you would get a better display anywhere. There was also a craft event at the time with everything blue bell related. Also a lovely cafe with sumptious cakes.

This is a fantastic place for all the family ( but be aware there are some steep climbs). it has really come on since being on TV and has advanced. it is family run and has been a family residence for a VERY long time. There are a lot of activities for al ages and it changes through the seasons,... More

Hi Stewie - we're very pleased you enjoy your visits to Riverhill. Yes, our Yeti does still venture out into the Chestnut Wood, usually between 2-4pm at the weekends and during school holidays. We're now closed until March 18th 2017, but hope to you see you next year. More
