The Platform is a dedicated live performance venue, uniquely situated in a restored Edwardian railway station on Morecambe promenade. A variety of entertainment is on offer throughout the year from top acts and comedians. The Platform host a variety of festivals and community events, including the Morecambe Kite Festival. I go here a lot to see plays and concerts and each and every time it has been perfect the staff are extremely helpful and you have a decent amount of lg room when you are sitting down

Watched the Simon and Garfunkel Story which was amazing... very impressed with the building, very well organised staffing, clean toilets and excellent value bar.

Been here for Hats off to Led Zeppelin and Limehouse Lizzy.... A lovely friendly small venue. The sound is pretty good and the drinks are reasonable. It's eat to see bands coming here and I look forward to the next band....

Visited to see the Dave Sparky one man show, the atmosphere was great due to the intermet setting, the staff very friendly and helpful, good bar with little queuing, overall a good experience.

Useful venue for performing arts, with good toilets, bar at most events, with helpful staff, and adjacent parking free in the evenings. Music programme is varied throughout the year and will suit most tastes. Pick something to suit you and you will not be disappointed.
