Macrobert Arts Centre is the main arts centre for Stirling and the Forth Valley area, and a cultural hub for Scotland. Located within the University of Stirling, we offer a huge variety of activities with over 400 live performances including drama, comedy, opera, dance, music, musical theatre and art exhibitions. The cinema - The Norman McLaren Filmhouse - screens a year round programme of blockbusters, arthouse movies, classics, documentaries, world cinema and children's films. One of our missions is to be a thriving arts centre for everyone. We run a wide range of classes, workshops, creative events and performance opportunities and aim to make them accessible to people of all ages and from all backgrounds and groups. Just back from watching Beauty and the Beast, amazing film, great venue, lots of room and comfortable seating. We ate in the restaurant beforehand and the food is excellent. We had burgers, cajun chicken, bruschetta and soft drinks, great value for money and excellent service....More

Great venue for families to visit as ticket prices are almost half the price of the other local Cinemas. Sweets/snacks are usual overpriced like other places but you could always pop into the Nisa next door. Only downside is you may need to wait a...More

This is a great venue to for cinema and theatre with the cinema tickets being about half the price of competitors! There isn't as much choice of movies at a given time but its easy enough to check online ahead of your visit to see...More

Over the years we have been here to see a wide variety of shows. The shows are well priced and there is a huge variety. It also has a cheap cinema. There is always something on or coming up at the MacRobert.

Lovely well lit entrance hall, very welcoming staff and the whole place was very clean. Theatre itself had comfy seats and all seats had great views. Show was excellent
