Worth a visit when in Southport. Lovely walk and a nice cafe at the end. Lots of information about the pier at the end. Little train is worth a go.

£6 return fare on the train seemed a bit expensive, not a lot to see when you reach the end of the pier, if possible walk the pier & save some money !

Very clean and tidy pier however space seems to be wasted as all you can do is walk on it to the cafe at the end. More buildings or stalls would create a reason to walk it more than once

There is lots to do around. we spend most of the time in the arcade and park. The park is great for kids all ages and a nice walk on the pier late afternoon.

Hi, on sunny weekends the pier opens from 9am. During the week it’s 10am. In the winter it’s 11. Hope this helps.
