From the outside this museum does not look large but it is a bit of a "tardis" inside. It has items of interest to suit all ages and tastes from the local palaeontology section to numerous paintings & works by Augustus & Gwen John (and others). It also has an art gallery section (with paintings for sale, not cheap!) plus... More

Thank you so much for your review and we are so glad that you enjoyed your visit. The stairs to the loo has been an issue for us for a while and unfortunately the cost of providing this service is beyond our financial capabilities at present. It was a pleasure to open up on the Monday for your group and... More

Lovely little museum showing local history and a little art too, usually a small activity for children to do and the gentleman there was lovely and friendly

Went here with husband and young child, they both had a great time. Passed a couple of hours easily and the children's activities and exhibits were really engaging. Admission also lasts a full year so will definitely be back again before we go home.

We had a nice relaxing look round with many interesting facts and a short film to boot. Dressing up for the children and exhibits and artifacts for all.

Worth a look round! Friendly chap in there today telling us all about the area. Close to the harbour and beaches and worth heading up to the top of the hill for the view!

First visit to the museum and I wish is discovered it before. The £4.95 entrance fee is valid for a year, and it's much bigger inside than it looks. Interesting exhibits, and they've introduced lots of family friendly things to keep children involved and interested. Nice range of art there too, and I particularly enjoyed the Tenby exhibition upstairs. Really... More

Great little museum with plenty of exhibits and information. We really enjoyed the history of Tenby section. The admission price is £4.95 but no discount for O.A.P. which I think is a shame but we still enjoyed the visit.

On holiday in the area we decided to visit the museum and art gallery whilst taking photos around the harbour. So glad we went in. This is a little gem with lots of interesting exhibits as well as a WWII exhibition set up by local schoolchildren. The whole museum is very child friendly with history, pirates, local palaeontology and a small... More

£4.95 buys you an adult ticket which allows you to visit as often as you like for a whole year! Accompanied children are free. This museum is a real surprise. I don't think anyone could fail to be astounded by the archeology section which gives a very clear history of the area with fascinating information to stimulate your mind and... More

Lovely local museum, with friendly and knowledgeably staff. Lots to see. The art collection is worthy of a national gallery. Very kid friendly - well worth a trip
