Defiantly worth going but not for everyone....

Visited here with two adults and three children aged 5-9. Having not been here for a couple of years and being "local" I am a little worried about leaving a review with an honest opinion after the defensiveness and aggressive response by management in previous reviews but here goes! We came on a cold autumn weekend day, therefore it was... More

Really fun day out. Animal park with extras, including dinosaurs and Egyptian tomb. We watched a talk about Wolves, which was very interesting and delivered by an engaging member of staff. You also get a chance to feed Meerkats and see them up close. You can spend a whole day here. Quite hilly though, fine for us, but perhaps something... More

I visited here a number of years ago with my sons ( who are now all grown up!) so I was really looking forward to bringing my two daughters here. As it was close to Halloween the park staff had pulled out all the stops and created a really spooky atmosphere in the mummies tomb, my girls were suitably spooked!... More

We as a family of 6 came here whilst having a weekend break to devon, and loved it. The park has lots of animals and some are even roaming freely around the park. We park extra to do a meet and great with the sea lions and I would definitely recommend this. We had Morgan the sea lion and he... More

Had a really nice day, seeing a variety of animals. The talks throughout the day were informative and it is clear the keepers really care about the animals and are passionate about what they do. The photos that can be bought are excellent to and a great way to keep memories from the day. The steep hills could be a... More

It's buried away in the countryside but once you arrive it's well worth it. Planted on the side of a steep hill, the car parks are a good hike, both uphill and down. You may want to drop off any elderly or very young children at the bottom of the hill first. If you like sealions, penguins, lions and dinosaurs... More

A wonderful small zoo run by keepers who clearly care passionately about what they do. All the talks and displays were thoughtful and informative. We all learnt a lot about sea lions, lemurs, meerkats, wolves and lions as well as many other animals. The catering facilities were average and run by grumpy staff who clearly don't enjoy their jobs as... More

As a family with a 4 year old, we had a nice day out. It's not massive in terms of animal attractions, but our son was quite entertained by the dinosaurs and of course the soft play was a big hit. There were loads of Halloween 'clap activated' ghosts and bats to keep him on his toes! We ate there... More

Well what can I say ... this is an awful place, very dirty, outdated and totally inappropriate for not only wheelchairs but pushchairs and small children too due to the extremely steep location. We only managed to stay for an hour and a half of what they claim to be a 'family day out'!!! The best part of this attraction... More
