Last time I was here it was the birth of the tiger cubs. The place has certainly changed some what, and the new arrival of the Polar Bear cub and the Leopard cubs has certainly raised the profile. They are all well worth a viewing.

As others have said, wide variety of accom available particularly in nearby Aviemore. Wide range of prices. Can be cold, can be warm, can be dry, can be wet.... it's Scotland, unpredictable.

The only option seems to be to leave the dogs with a friend or family member somewhere like Kingussie, wearing good boots, waterproofs and supplies. Or have them leave you at the HWP. Creag Bheag behind Kingussie is nowhere... More
