One of my favourite places on earth. While there may not be as many animals as a zoo it does not matter, you can see the animals are so well cared for and have wonderful enclosures to suit their needs with plenty of space and fun for them. Usually good food options too though on busy days can sell out. An animal that everyone will love from tigers, wolves, snow leopards and lynxes to red pandas, snow monkeys and squirrels. They even have wolverines which are always running around playing causing mischief.

As we had a few hours wait until we could book into our hotel I booked tickets for the wildlife park. Firstly it stated that only online booking was available, ( understandable due to present circumstances), but must be booked by midnight the previous day. This was not true as I made the booking less than 2 hours before opening so don't know what that is about.. The park itself is very well laid out with plenty room for the animals which all seemed healthy looking. There are cafes on site and plenty of picnic tables to use so the whole day can be spent there if you want. Before we realised it we had been there for 5 hours.

We went on a good weather day, and pretty much saw every animal that was out and about. Lots to see - plenty of animals; everything from Polar bears to Scottish wildcats. The drive through enclosure was a great experience too. It's quite a spread out park, which suited us just fine. Worth having a look at the map and planning your route and not missing out large sections of the park as they are not immediately obvious. Perhaps because of covid there were no posted feeding times. The cafe was sold out of a lot of some food when we went, but we did visit later in the day on a good weather day, so understandable. We ended up with veggie burgers and crisps. Would definitely go back.

A great day out with the family, plenty of space to walk around and be socially distant. Kids loved driving through the Safari Park, so much in fact we did it twice before we had to head home. A good winters day out.

We had a super day out here. Animals all suited to ' cold' environments and large areas with plenty of enrichment on display so animals looked well card for and exhibiting more natural behaviours than most 'zoos'. Nice to go off peak as very quiet. Cafe was suprisingly good and well priced. Good coffee, home made soup etc Lady in giftshop very friendly and helpful to everyone despite having to enforce one way system to tired families with excited kids. We spent 4 hours here and it was worth the long drive.
