The Isle of Wight Zoo is home to one of Britain's largest collection of tigers, many of whom are rescue animals. With several superb new enclosures modeled on natural tiger habitats in India, the zoo is a fantastic place to see these wonderful animals relaxing. A number of other animals also live there, including lemurs, jaguars and lions. Family friendly with disabled access throughout.

This is a great little sanctuary that is doing good things. The morning we were there they had 5 new tigers that had been rescued from a Spanish Circus. So nice to see them having a “retirement”.

Visited the Zoo twice during my two week stay on the island, last visit to see the Tigers rescued from the Spanish circus, they were obviously at home in their enclosures, and the keepers were caring and obviously had a connection with the animals in...More

We’ve had a fabulous time today. Three tigers rescued from a circus in Spain came to the zoo on Friday. The work the zoo keepers are doing to settle these poor animal’s in, is awe inspiring. The keepers couldn’t of been more helpful, they obviously...More

We booked the Big Cat experience for 2 people, and had 45 minutes in very close proximity to feed the tigers and lions. The informative talk by the keeper was mindblowing and we must have taken 50 photos and 30 videos. It's important to book...More

I wasn't expecting a huge zoo on the island but it just seemed a bit too small for what we paid to get in. The zoo prides itself on their tiger and the meerkats. The meerkats were nowhere to be seen except for one lonely...More

Better to go in good weather, plenty of animals, but not really worth the entrance fee for what is there. for photographers there are glass panels to capture images rather than through fencing in some area's.

I don't think dogs are allowed unless guide dogs as it can upset the animals. And if I remember rightly it was just over £10 per adult child was £7 I think. You can see online
