miles of beautiful sand and absolutely stunning views was down every night we were there! hunting for crabs and shells and playing with my 3 children in the sea and with the sand :)

lets face it whitley like all other british resorts has seen better days you cant even walk along the beach without being"attacked " by dogs jumping up at you or spoiling your play with the bairns, what is it about dog ownwers that they expect...More

A great area for a bracing walk even in November and with blue skies and the sun shining it was really pleasant on the beaches and lower promenade out of the breeze. The whole area is clean and clear of litter.

Beautiful beach gorgeous friendly people although the old shelters have been removed the new ones offer no protection but if you take some waterproof cover with you to ensure you don't get caught out in inclement weather you can still have some fun with children...More

So many British seaside towns have decayed and make visiting a miserable affair. Not so here. The Links looked spotless and well manicured. The sun helped, but Whitley Bay seems to be on the up at last. And that's worth a cheer.

Went here yesterday to see the finished long awaited refurb of the Links. It is really lovely they have done a tremendous job, lovely walks and views.
