We used the electric railway to get to Ramsey and back to Douglas a couple of times and found it a very relaxing way to travel, with some great scenery along the way.

Open carriages, glad it was a sunny day , Great way to view some of the Isle of Man. What an experience. . Then travelled on the steam train and finally on the horse-drawn train along the promenade. Fabulous

It is very easy to move about and at times either side, on the way 'up' I would say the right hand side, to get a good view of the Laxey wheel.

We paid £16 each The ticket took us to Laxey on the train from Douglas. We changed at Laxey onto the Snaefell Railway and after a roam on the mountain we took the train back Laxey and then on to Douglas. We then used it to... More
