This is a great indoor market with very reasonable prices. If you're in Durham be sure to pay it a visit. Allow yourself about an hour to get round at at leisurely pace and try the bakery stall.

Liked wandering around the levels to see what was on offer. I didn't find fantastic buttons that I wanted for a coat though! Bought cheapish drinks, some things we found were quite expensive.

Often pop in here on a Saturday just to have a look around, especially at the book and DVD stalls. Nice friendly atmosphere and nothing hurried about it. Nice cafe upstairs with toilets available

Busy indoor market with lots to chose from good prices and friendly stall holders with a restraint in the middle to look upon the market as you dine

I have to say that these small markets are either very good or a bit of a waste of time. Being honest this was more a waste of time, the only reason for 2 stars was the vintage toy shop.
