Wonderful walks along this coastline. A lovely beach with sea as far as you can see! On a clear day you can see Ireland, Scotland, Isle of Man and Wales. Amazing sunsets.

Enjoyed doing a little memory trip here, nice to see the public toilet still there and the wall being maintained...loved seeing the see!

Loved the wildness of the sea and place,can walk for miles,great for water sports,not really a beach as such,lots rocks and pebbles ,only good at tide out otherwise a good walk near the sea.,very windy.,saw kite surfers and lots dog walkers.On a fine day go...More

Place to enjoy the Irish Sea and views across to the Isle of Man,or the lakes hills ,Black Comb or the mountains of the lakes Scafell etc.easy walking with a large car park and public toilets .

Have visited here since I was a child. Miles of sandy beach, usually always somebody about. Can be very windy and that makes it popular with kite flyers. Plenty of free car parking and not far from anything you'd need.

Lovely sandy beach with rockpools good to spend a couple of hours in summer with kids on beach also nice on a not so warm day for a walk along the sea front to sand hills
