We took a short break to the lakes in January. While there we visited the world of Beatrix Potter. The younger two kids loved it and the older two got involved helping them fill in the questionnaire's. I must admit it brought back a few childhood memories of my own!! Well worth a visit

Having recently discovered peter rabbit on bbc iplayer & some bed time books, my little girl was expected to enjoy beatrix potter world. it took a little bit of getting used to, translating the book & tv into physical displays infront of her was a little confusing, but she soon warmed up and loved it. there is a varied range... We took our almost 4 year old daughter and it was a quick trip around, she wasn't very interested and there was little to do that was interactive that she could understand. it also seem very expensive.

Lovely display of the history of the stories but little else. Would be so much better if this was combined with a tour of real sites. Even the gift shot did not have the royal Doulton range that I grew up with. Just not good value for money. Sorry 😐

Had a visit here today and my daughter loved every minute of it. We walked around and were kept busy and interested for about an hour and a half tbh could of spent longer in there too. Lots of works gone into the exhibits and some are so realistic. It was good to learn about Beatrix Potters life and things... More

A lovely day out to entertain the small children and for some adult interest but only really because of visiting with children. Highly recommend to families with young children, probably wouldn't go without family although my husband seemed to enjoy it a lot! It's a small museum with models/sets for children to look at and an interactive room. It probably... More

I was blown away by this great value for money museum. It sends you back to childhood. Really gave all four of us a closely bonding experience.

On a rainy day and money isn't an issue it is worth a visit or you could just go in the cafe and colour in free bunny ears, this was the best part for my 5 year old.
