Lots to see and do; kept our granddaughters stimulated and occupied all morning; lunch good and prices reasonable. Take the kids and count the mice - totally absorbing and it gets quite competitive 😊

A very tranquil place, it lovely all year round. I prefer the Autumn as I love walking in the leaves fallen from the trees. The views across to Portland and over the harbour are stunning. Summer time again a good place for a stroll

This is an interesting place if you like cannons and forts. They have made a real effort to make it as interesting as possible, but make sure you go when the local bus is still running otherwise it's a long walk back if you haven't got a car.

Family Sunday afternoon outing (2 adults, 2 boys 11 and 8). Much much more to see and do than expected. We were there for a couple of hours and didn't manage to complete the tunnel exhibits. Amazing views across to Weymouth bay and across to Portland. Didn't try the cafe, so can't comment on catering. Day ticket can be upgraded... More

Great day out - 2 adults and 8 youngsters 10 to 12 year olds. The weather was great and lots to see both in the fort and out at sea!! The children loved the mouse hunt and were disappointed we did not have enough time to finish it all. We spent 2.5 hours including a picnic lunch and watching the... More

Took our girls here for a few hours out. Wrapped up warm and explored the outside areas before heading inside, ending with lunch in the cafe. Reasonable pricings and we appreciated the military discount. A good day out for all the family!
