We popped along today to view the ruins. Even though a cloudy windy day, the view was superb. We imagine in the summer sitting in amongst the gardens that are in front of the ruins, would be very restful.

We walked round these ruins on our walk to Portland. There is a walkway inside the castle, but there is not a lot to see now. There are good interpretation boards giving an idea of what the castle would have been like when it was...More

Beautiful gardens, with a stunning view and a good café. We like to walk from the centre of Weymouth along the Rodwell trail to Sandsfoot and back along the coast.

Gorgeous gardens and lovely sea views. Fascinating castle to explore for free and a great little outdoor cafe. Wonderful place to enjoy a generous cup of tea or an ice cream. Often come here when visiting relatives n Weymouth.

We use this place regularly. Can't beat the service. The gardens are beautiful, and the Tudor castle ruins very interesting. Try for yourself

About 3.5k. Good level walk (old railway track) used by cyclists, walkers, dog walkers- anybody/everybody. Partly wooded walk and later has brilliant sea views over Portland Harbour. Goes past Sandsfoot Castle - great for... More
