As I live locally have visited The Taste before when under different management. This has been greatly improved . Menu varied with a good selection of cakes. Try and get a table by a window to enjoy the beauty of the Fleet (especially if the tide is on the turn). Only downside cafe a bit cramped and gift shop expensive.

If you are in the Weymouth Portland area this UNESCO site is something to see and experience, runs for miles, the combination of the noise waves and pebbles is something not to be missed.

Gorgeously breath taking! Fantastic just to sit and hear the waves. Nice and clean to! You must visit the visitor centre after to see how it was formed!

A very good place to fish, many different species can be caught , and the deep water close in can bring some big catches

Chesil Beach, is an amazing place to walk along, the views are wonderful, it was March so cold and blustery but at it's best with the sea & wind in all it's glory, just dress warm and enjoy the experience.

Fabulous stretch of beach on the Jurassic coast. Not sand but pebbles. Always a pleasure any time of year. You can walk for miles

I just had a quick look at Chesil Beach from top of a view point . Was kindly allowed to park in a pub at the end of Coastguard rd because you cannot drive down any further. Walked for about 20 mins , (sign posted for coast ) and had some spectacular views from where i stood. Seeing the odd... More

Beautiful pebble beach with the most amazing pebbles I've seen. The walk is beautiful and a bit demanding because of the pebbles. Nice for walking and views.

we parked in a side road of Fortuneswell (Portland) near a school and sauntered down to this beach, lovely and sunny weather in late January, nice tarmaced beach promenade, easy to climb down steps to the beach, perfect views and great to listen to the waves crushing into the gravel beach and ruffling the stones, sat down there, watching the...
