Been here many times and never disappointed (apart from the weather that is!). Visited for a swimming competition (open water regionals) & parkrun (just off the back of the beach at Lodmoor). Both well run & in a superb location.

It's always a pleasure to take a walk along this promenade and the beach is always lovely and clean, we can even take our dog on one section of the beach if he's with us.

The seafront at Weymouth is one of the loveliest in the South of England. To the east of the jubilee clock tower it is mostly pebbles but the central beach is some of the most beautiful sand in the south of England A gem.

Great sweeping views of the bay and coastline. Plenty of choices for a bite or a brew. Also several arcades, a bit tacky but all right if you are into that kind of stuff

We were so lucky in picking our holiday in the hottest week for 40 years! Weymouth Beach can't be faulted when the sun shines.

We came here as part of our holiday nearby and were not disappointed. The beach was long and wide, and even though lots of families were there, it didn't feel crowded. There were beach huts and deckchairs available for a small charge, but we opted...More

Depends where you're base. In summer, dogs are only allowed on a small section of beach y the Pavilion (near the harbour) - this however changes in winter. You could walk the dog around Lodmoor Country park (near the Sea... More

what I tend to do is drop everyone off in my car along the seafront and turn around and park in the park and ride near Morrison's back out of town, much cheaper as free park and ride only need to pay bus fare. much cheaper... More
